An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova has today kicked off an official visit to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
At the Islam Karimov International Airport, the delegation was welcomed by the First Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sodyq Safoev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and other officials.
As part of the two-day visit, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis will meet with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the speakers of both chambers of the country's parliament.
