Azerbaijani government reports to parliament
Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade made a report of the government on the result of the country`s development in 2012 at a plenary session of Milli Majlis.
Parliamentary correspondent of 1news.az reports that the head of the government stressed the twofold increase in GDP production and 9.7% growth in nonoil sector in 2012.

“Of all financial sources the country`s economy received AZM 25.8bn, including 71% in nonoil sector. Curbing inflation rate on the level of 1.1% created a favorable ground for the socio-oriented policy”, Rasizade said.

He noted that the strategic monetary reserves have reached $46bn which is a 8-fold growth over the foreign debt of the state.

The consolidated budget revenues made AZN 20.1bn and the state budget revenues have been executed.

“Financial stability of the banking system was ensured in 2012 and credit investment has grown by 20.8%. The problem of Soviet deposits return to the population was settled last year and by the end of the year the population received over AZN 550,000,000 in compensation. This process will finish this year. The average monthly salary in the country rose by 8.7% in 2012, while the average monthly pensions are brought to the level of AZN 152”, the prime minister said.
