The ambassador presented a copy of his credentials to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. The Azerbaijani FM congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
The sides discussed issues on the current bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of the development of relations based on mutual respect, friendship and solidarity over the past years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. In this regard, the role of high-level mutual visits and intensive contacts in the development of relations was emphasized.
Ambassador Abdurahmon Ilhom Barotzoda thanked Minister Jeyhun Bayramov for the sincere reception and congratulations and pointed out that he will spare no efforts to further expand the relations between the two countries during his tenure.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
