According to sources, the agenda of the talks between the Russian leader and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan will include the resumption of the grain deal, bilateral ties, relations between Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the normalization of relations between Türkiye and Syria.
The presidents of Russia and Türkiye had a telephone conversation on August 2, during which they agreed to prepare a possible meeting.
On August 4, Erdogan told reporters about the possibility of Putin’s visit to Türkiye. He noted that the exact date of the visit has not yet been determined and will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
