“Our most important strength in the fight against global challenges is the unity and solidarity of the Turkic world. We have seen and continue to see this truth in many recent events. After the Patriotic War, Azerbaijan completely ended the 30-year occupation of Karabakh. We feel great pride in this historic achievement. Thus, we are one step closer to constant peace in our region. We really want to take advantage of the window of opportunity that has opened,” said President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan as he addressed the 10th summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana, AzVision.az reports.
Emphasizing the importance of fulfilling by Armenia its commitments to Azerbaijan, the President of Türkiye said: "The implementation of the transport line that will connect Nakhchivan with the western regions of Azerbaijan is also of great importance. The opening of the line will make an important contribution to the prosperity of all the countries in the region, and will connect Türkiye with our ancestral homeland, Central Asia. For the successful completion of this process, we, as the Turkic world, must continue to support Azerbaijan."
