The first newborn has been welcomed in Azerbaijan’s Shusha city modular hospital following its liberation from Armenian occupation, marking a significant milestone after 32 years, the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Subdivisions (TABIB) said, AzVision.az reports.
The newborn, a girl, has been welcomed by Shusha resident Tarana Khameyeva, born in 1990. The baby weighs 3.2 kilograms and measures 54 centimeters in height.
The delivery was successfully managed by obstetrician-gynecologist Tarana Hasanova.
Currently, both the mother and child are receiving necessary medical assistance, and their condition is stable.
