The photos depicts portraits of a poor Armenian family living in Agdam, Nagorno Karabakh in a miserable condition.The city was destroyed by Armenian vandals in 1993. While 60`000 Azerbaijanis have been forced to leave the city, today only a few hundred people live there.
Though Armenian government have territorial claims against Azerbaijan over Nagorno Karabakh the ordinary people know that sooner or later Azerbaijan will regain its occupied lands. Therefore the majority of them refuse to live there. But the government urges poor people to live in the occupied by them regions under bad circumstances.
