Azerbaijani Army ranks 50th worldwide
The army ranking of world countries has been announced. The list released by Global Firepower includes 106 countries, AzVision.az reports.
Countries’ nuclear potential did not count in the ranking. The list has been compiled based on capabilities of the use of common weapons on the ground, in air and at the sea as well as economic resources and geographical location.

The ranking, which relies on 50 factors in total, is led by the US Army. Russia ranks the second and is followed by China, India, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Turkey, South Korea, and Japan in the top 10 places.

Azerbaijan is the 50th on the list. The Azerbaijani Army has outdone Belarus (52nd), Georgia (64th), and Kazakhstan (80th).

Ukraine ranked 21st, while Armenia is not even on the list.
