President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met Vice-President of the European Commission on Energy Union Marosh Shefchovich in Davos.
They emphasized the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in various fields, including energy sector, and importance of Azerbaijan’s increasing role in European energy supply and the Southern Gas Corridor in this field.
The sides also discussed the issues on the first meeting of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor to be held at the ministerial level in Baku next month, current state and prospects of cooperation.
