Within the framework of the Joint Commission on demarcation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Russia, the first border marker was installed on both sides of the Samur river on Azerbaijan-Russia border.
The meeting also discussed the issues related to the further continuation of the demarcation process.
The meeting was held in the spirit of good-neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
The next meeting of the Joint Commission is planned to be held in the Russian Federation. The dates of the meeting would be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
