Devastating floods claim lives of 17 people in Iran

Head of Iran's Emergency Organization Peirhossien Kolivand said on Monday that downpour devastating flood in the country's city of Shiraz claimed lives of 17 civilians and some 74 people injured, IRNA reported. 

Immediately after the flood, one autobus ambulance along with 16 ambulances were sent to the scene of the incident to help people trapped in the flood, he said. 

Devastating floods incurred huge damages in various provinces this year putting the country's local official on full alert to help people in those provinces.
