5.0-magnitude quake hits Solomon Islands

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted 27km NNW of Kirakira, Solomon Islands at 18:44:44 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said, AzVision.az reports citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 72.56 km, was initially determined to be at 10.2218 degrees south latitude and 161.8452 degrees east longitude.
