Two people dead in small plane crash in Kingsland

A small plane crash in Kingsland claimed the life of two people Sunday afternoon, authorities confirmed, CBS reports.

A member of the Llano County Sheriff’s Office says that a 9-1-1 called was received at 2:27 p.m. for a small plane crash at the airport at 111 Head Wind.

The two occupants of the plane are deceased, a spokesperson with Texas DPS confirms.

DPS is securing the scene until the FAA arrives to do their investigation.
