The US president shared two messages praising his leadership and criticising Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow Democrats widely known as “the squad”.
“How I wish we had such leadership in the UK,” tweeted Ms Hopkins. “Don’t like this country? Don’t like what it gives you? Then leave”.
“Trump does not give offence. #TheSquad choose to take it. #TheSquad need to make better decisions.”
He also retweeted Ms Hopkins’ latest attack on Sadiq Khan, adding his personal comment: “With the incompetent Mayor of London, you will never have safe streets!”
