5.5-magnitude quake hits South Indian Ocean

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake jolted South Indian Ocean at 2240 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, AzVision.az reports citing Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 29.1073 degrees south latitude and 96.8474 degrees east longitude.
