2 killed, 14 injured in Texas shooting: reports

At least two people were killed and 14 others were injured after an unidentified suspect opened fire at a university homecoming party in Texas, U.S. media reported on Sunday, AzVision.az reports citing AP.

According to the reports, the shooting took place at a venue hosting a homecoming party for Texas A&M Commerce University students.

A Texas A&M University-Commerce spokesman has confirmed reports of a shooting at an off-campus party as the school east of Dallas celebrated homecoming weekend.

University spokesman Michael Johnson confirmed a shooting to WFAA-TV, but said the school hasn't confirmed whether any students were injured.

Officials said the suspect was at large and a manhunt was ongoing to locate the shooter.

A graphic video shared on social media showed several people with lying gunshot wounds, while panicking bystanders tried to help them.
