6.3 magnitude quake hits Afghanistan

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake with its epicentre 225 km northeast of Kabul jolted several parts of north India including Delhi-NCR, the Indian Meteorological Department said on Friday.

Tremors were felt in Punjab, Chandigarh, and Haryana.

There was no immediate report of any loss of life or property due to the quake, which hit at 5:09 pm, the IMD said.
