Appeal, which was sent to US lawmakers, Trump Administration and mass media stated that on July 12, Armenian provocation against Azerbaijan on Azerbaijan-Armenia border was decisively suppressed by Azerbaijani Army.
It was noted that starting from the afternoon on July 12, units of the Armenian armed forces, grossly violating the ceasefire on the direction of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, subjected to fire on our positions using artillery mounts. During the clashes, 11 Azerbaijani servicemen have martyred while defending the territorial integrity of our country.
The appeals also highlights the UN Security Council resolutions 822 (1993), 853 (1993), 874 (1993) and 884 (1993) on demanding immediate complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian troops from all other occupied areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
