Since 17 July till now, tensions has calmed down compared to previous days on the site of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border, the spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, Colonel Vagif Dargahli said on Friday.
"However, tensions still continue. On the site of our state border, the enemy side uses submachine guns and other arms in the direction of our positions. Various large-caliber weapons are used. Mortars and other artillery equipments are not used as on the previous days," Dargahli said.
