The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received a phone call from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the MFA.
Ukrainian FM Dmytro Kuleba congratulated Jeyhun Bayramov for his appointment as the new head of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and wish him every success in his position.
Azerbaijani FM thanked his Ukrainian counterpart for his congratulations and warm wishes.
The FMs expressed satisfaction with the level of mutual cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine and confidence that the two countries will further develop the bilateral relations.
Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude over Ukrainian MFA's fair statement on the military provocation committed by the Armenian Armed Forces and the tense situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border. He stressed that this statement is consistent with the international law norms and principles and the relevant UNSC resolutions.
Dmytro Kuleba stated that Ukraine’s position in this issue remains unchanged.
