Members of the Azerbaijani community in California gathered in front of Armenians and preventer their provocation.
Armenians, who failed to achieve their goals began to act violently and aggressively against our compatriots.
Armenians began to insult Azerbaijanis, and some of them tried to drive their cars on our compatriots. To ensure the safety of our compatriots, Los Angeles police officers gathered around them.
Despite police officers' efforts, Dashnaks attacked our compatriots and injured them. Armenians attacked a small group of peaceful Azerbaijani counter-protestors in front of our Consulate. 7 Azerbaijanis were injured, 4 hospitalized.
