 Azerbaijani President makes phone call to Recep Tayyip Erdogan

On July 31, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Presidential Administration. 

President Ilham Aliyev congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and wished the people of Turkey well-being.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his gratitude to the President of Azerbaijan for attention and congratulations. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan and extended his wishes for peace and prosperity of the people of Azerbaijan.

The Presidents expressed their confidence that the friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey would continue successfully developing in all areas. They also expressed their satisfaction with the Azerbaijani-Turkish Live-Fire Joint Large-Scale Tactical Exercises conducted in different regions of Azerbaijan stating that these exercises are another manifestation of Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood.

President Ilham Aliyev also highly appreciated President Erdogan's support to Azerbaijan regarding the military provocation committed by the Armenian Armed Forces on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. 

The heads of state exchanged views over the issues on development prospects of cooperation between the two countries in a variety of fields.
