"New difficulties emerge as pandemic continues. Epidemiological control, strategy of testing and comprehensive data analysis will contribute to making evidence-based decisions, including the implementation of public health measures. Within the mission, experts from the WHO European Office on epidemiological control, data management, healthcare management and risk communication jointly worked with local health authorities and experts to assess the changes and identify areas for improvement in the country's response mechanisms. Experts visited healthcare centers and hospitals in Baku, as well as in Shamakhi and Ganja regions of Azerbaijan," David Novillo-Ortiz noted.
