F-16 Fighter Jet Crashes in Arizona During Exercises
According to the ABC 15 channel, the crash took place near the city of Douglas on Wednesday evening.
An F-16 fighter jet crashed in the US state of Arizona, local media reported, citing the Federal Aviation Administration.

It is possible that two aircraft were involved in the incident.

The media outlet reported, citing the local authorities, that the crash happened during military exercises.

The F-16 single-engine aircraft was originally developed for the US army, with more than 20 countries worldwide importing the plane.

In April, an F-16 jet that the United States had given to Indonesia for free set on fire during takeoff.

In 2012, a US F-16 Falcon fighter aircraft crashed into the Pacific Ocean near Russia’s Kuril Islands.
