"After coordination with both Iran and the US, the fourth round of negotiations is set to take place on Sunday, 11 May in Muscat," Albusaidi wrote on his X account.
He, however, didn't provide further details.
Earlier, the IRNA news agency quoted Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as saying that Oman will host the upcoming fourth round of talks between his country and the US.
“Regarding the venue and the start time of the negotiations, coordination is being awaited from the Omani side,” he said.
The fourth round of indirect talks between Tehran and Washington, originally scheduled for May 3 in Rome, was postponed for logistical reasons, according to Oman’s foreign minister, who is mediating the talks.
Following an exchange of letters in March between US President Donald Trump and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the two sides held indirect talks in Oman and Rome.
