On August 4, a group of 10 Chinese doctors and medical supplies arrived in Baku to assist Azerbaijan in the fight against the spread of the novel coronavirus, AzVision.az reports the press service of "Azerbaijan Airlines" (AZAL).
Highly qualified medical professionals will work with their Azerbaijani counterparts to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The direct flight of Azerbaijan Airlines from Chengdu (the capital of the southwestern Chinese province of Sichuan) to Baku lasted more than seven hours. The flight was organized under the instructions of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
