Minister of Health meets with Cuban doctors

On August 14, Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ogtay Shiraliyev met with Ambassador of Cuba to Azerbaijan Alfredo Fidel Nieves Portuondo and head of the medical staff coming from Cuba Professor Dalsy Torres Avilla, AzVision.az reports.

Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev spoke of the methods of combating and treating the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan. Minister noted that the achievements in this area are the result of President Ilham Aliyev's attention and care for the development of healthcare. Ogtay Shiraliyev also spoke of the positive results achieved by Cuban doctors.

The sides exchanged views on future perspectives of the cooperation in various fields of healthcare.
