Following the ceremony, a meeting was held between Azerbaijani President and new ambassador of Uzbekistan.
President Ilham Aliyev spoke of his discussions with the Uzbek leader on mutual cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, transport and logistics, agriculture, as well as cotton-growing and other areas.
The head of the state also noted that his visit to Uzbekistan has been postponed due to pandemic. Azerbaijani president will pay a visit to Uzbekistan as soon as epidemiological situation enables.
