Number of global COVID-19 cases tops 23 Million

The COVID-19 pandemic is on the rise, with over 23 million infected worldwide, while the global death toll from the disease has surpassed 800,000 according to official data. The biggest daily increase in the number of cases has been registered in India, the US, and Brazil, with other places in Latin America following somewhat behind them.
