  Azerbaijan reports fewer than 100 new COVID-19 cases for second straight day

In the past 24 hours, Azerbaijan has reported 98 new coronavirus cases, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az on Tuesday.

Some 113 virus infected people have recovered and two patients have died, the headquarters noted.

In the past 24 hours, Azerbaijan has recorded 92 new coronavirus cases, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az.

Up until now, 39,378 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 36,949 of them have recovered, and 578 people have died. Currently, 1,851 people are under treatment in special hospitals.

Over the past day, 6,672 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country. Thus, the total number of tests has reached 1,064,475.
