We have no military targets in the territory of Armenia, says Ilham Aliyev

"Azerbaijan has no military targets in the territory of Armenia", President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev said while making an appeal to the people of Azerbaijan.

"Recently, Armenia's military provocations against Azerbaijan have become regular. Azerbaijani servicemen and a civilian were killed as a result of the artillery fire opened by Armenia in July in the direction of Tovuz district on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. It is obvious that first fire, including artillery fire, was opened by Armenia, and the first victims were Azerbaijani servicemen. Azerbaijan gave a decent response to the enemy and they could not move an inch forward. The enemy was stopped, the territorial integrity of our country was protected. As a result of the crushing blows, the Armenian armed forces have been forced to agree to a bitter defeat. Once again I want to reiterate that if we want, we could have conducted military battles on the territory of Armenia. However, we do not have military targets in the territory of Armenia. Therefore, the shooting was stopped a few days later."
