"Azerbaijan Army continues counter-offensive operations to liberate our occupied lands from the enemy. The personnel of the Azerbaijani army have a high combat and moral- psychological spirit. Our servicemen show real heroism in battles, " said Lieutenant Colonel Anar Eyvazov, spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence.
"The military equipment and manpower of the Armenian armed forces were destroyed as a result of the counter-offensive operations of Azerbaijani Army," Eyvazov added.
"Dashkesan district of Azerbaijan was shelled from Vardenis region of Armenia during the early hours of the morning. Azerbaijani Army will take adequate measures in this regard," spokesperson noted.
