Regarding the escalation of the tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has thoroughly reviewed the collective security systems, as well as the institutions work in the field of shelter, radiation protection and basement readiness level, capacity, communication and warning system, utilities, existing infrastructure and communication systems, transport and health in cities and regions to ensure reliable protection of the population in peacetime and wartime and took relevant measures, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Note on, on September 27, at about 06:00, the Armenian side committed another aggression against Azerbaijan shelling the positions of the Azerbaijan Army along the entire length of the front and Azerbaijani human settlements located in the frontline zone with large-calibre weapons, mortars, and artillery mounts of various calibres.
Azerbaijan launched a counteroffensive in response to ensure the safety of the population.
