Some 137 people have recovered and one patient has died, the headquarters noted.
The overall COVID-19 cases in Azerbaijan have reached 40,561, with the number of recoveries and deaths standing at 38,354 and 595 respectively. As many as 1,612 patients are currently being treated in specialized hospitals.
Over the past day, 5,789 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 1,132,327.
