I hope that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will end soon, said Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his interview with Russia 24.
"Both sides suffer from casualties during the military clashes. We do hope that this confrontation will end soon. In this regard, we call the sides to cease the operations in Nagorno-Karabakh as soon as possible", Putin noted.
President Vladimir Putin also added that the military clashes in the Karabakh region are causing great concern in Russia.
Besides, Putin stated that more than two million Azerbaijani and two million Armenian people live in Russia.
