President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made remarks in his interview to Russia's First Channel, AzVision.az reports.
"Given that the current mediation mission has not led to any fruitful results over the past 28 years, we must, of course, take a pragmatic approach. Taking into account who can have a real positive impact on the developments in the region, for the reduction of escalation, the establishment of lasting peace and the development of cooperation, of course, after the end of active hostilities, Turkey has every right to participate in the mediation mission as a powerful country, our neighbour and a neighbour in the South Caucasus. Of course, I think that these are, first of all, Turkey and Russia", he said.
