President Ilham Aliyev: Ceasefire must be a bilateral decision

A ceasefire cannot be achieved unilaterally, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Euronews television.

Official luncheon hosted in honor of Ethiopian PM in Baku

“It [ceasefire] must be a bilateral decision. And also it must be implemented on the ground,” the head of state said.

President Aliyev noted that Armenia launched an armed attack on Azerbaijan’s military positions, as well as on civilian settlements.
