President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his interview to CNN Turk television in response to the reporter's question on "will there be a change in your current position if Armenia continues to fire on civilian settlements?"
"I have already said these days that we have nothing to do with the Armenian people. Thousands of Armenians live in Azerbaijan and they are our citizens. Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh are also our citizens. All our targets are military targets. We have every right to destroy military targets because these military facilities have caused great damage to our army and cities. Therefore, it is our duty to destroy them and ensure the safe life of our people", the head of state said.
