The Armenian Armed Forces do not adhere to the humanitarian ceasefire and continue intensively firing rockets and artillery shells at Azerbaijan’s cities and villages located away from the area of combat operation, AzVision.az reports citing the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
On October 10 and 11, the Armenian Army fired at the Ganja and Mingachevir cities, as well as the villages of Goranboy, Terter, Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Fizuli, and Jabrayil regions.
As a result of the shelling, there are numerous casualties among the civilian population, and the civilian infrastructure has been seriously damaged.
The political and military leadership of Armenia bears the responsibility for the aggravation of the situation in the region.
Note, a ceasefire was declared from 12:00 on October 10, 2020 for humanitarian purposes for the exchange of prisoners of war and other detained persons and bodies of the dead, mediated and in accordance with the criteria of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
