 Armenian fire wounds resident of Azerbaijan

The Armenian Armed Forces violated the norms and principles of international law, including the requirements of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and the Additional Protocols to the Convention, as well as the requirements of the humanitarian ceasefire, declared on October 10, 2020, at 12 p.m, continues to shell residential areas as well as strategic objects with heavy artillery, deliberately targeting the civilian population of Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On October 12, 2020, the Armenian Army launched missile attacks on Terter, Aghdam and Goranboy, targeting the largest hydroelectric power station in South Caucasus. As a result, 50 years old Firudin Baylarov, who is a resident of Kengerli village of Terter region, got wounded and hospitalized. 

Currently, the scene of an incident is being assessed and respective operative investigative measures are performed by prosecutors and investigators.
