The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Russia sent a note of protest to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation regarding the illegal visit of Vitaliy Milonov, a member of the Russian State Duma from the ruling “United Russia” party, to the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan violating Azerbaijan's internationally recognized borders, AzVision.az reports citing the embassy.
The note says that on October 16, 2020, Vitaly Milonov met the head of the so-called separatist regime and made a number of provocative statements aimed at aggravating the tense situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
