 Search and rescue operation in Ganja is completed - MES

As reported, continuing rude violation of the humanitarian ceasefire, on October 17, 2020, at around 01:00 AM midnight the Armenian armed forces fired missiles on Ganja again. As the result the missiles hitting residential buildings destroyed them fully and residents remained under rubble.

The relevant forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including the Ganja Regional Centre, the Special Risky Rescue Service, the Civil Defence Forces and the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were quickly involved in the area. In total, so far 53 injured people and 13 corpses were removed from under the ruins.

The search and rescue operations are completed taking into account that nobody was left under rubble according to the information of the relevant agencies.
