 Armenian shelling wounds 4 more civilians in Azerbaijan

On October 19, the Armenian Armed Forces shelled residential areas in Aghdam region using missiles and heavy aritllery and violating the norms and principles of international law, including the requirements of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and the requirements of the humanitarian truce, agreed on October 18, 2020, at 00:00, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

On October 19, the Armenian Armed Forces shelled residential areas in Aghdam region using missiles and heavy aritllery and violating the norms and principles of international law, including the requirements of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and the requirements of the humanitarian truce, agreed on October 18, 2020, at 00:00, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As a result of shelling of Banovshalar settlement, 65 years old Shamama Guliyev and 44 years old Maya Guliyeva got wounded and hospitalized at 3:00 pm on October 19. 

Also, 38 years old Anar Hasanov, an employee of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting (Aztv), who was in Banovshalar settlement during the shelling, got wounded and was hospitalized with injuries.

Besides, Chichek Mahiyaddinli, a resident of Pashabeyli village of Aghdam, was hospitalized with various injuries as a result of artillery shelling.

Currently, the scene of an incident is being assessed and respective operative investigative measures are performed by prosecutors and investigators.
