Armenian captives contacted their families

Armenian captives were given the chance to contact their families, said Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev.

Presidential Aide said that the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons issued a statement on the Armenian captives:

"Azerbaijan has demonstrated its commitment to the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law and its high moral values by providing medical care to two wounded Armenian prisoners of war in Azerbaijan. Besides, the International Red Cross was informed about it and they can keep in touch with the captives. "
