Armenian serviceman: "Karabakh is the land of Azerbaijan" - VIDEO

I did not want to go to war, because I knew that Karabakh is the land of Azerbaijan, but not Armenia", captivated Armenian serviceman Valera Hayrapetyan said, AzVision.az reports.

"I am from Khankendi, I was born there in 1997. After military service, seeing the situation in the country, understanding how people were deceived, I decided to go to Russia with my family. I worked there. On September 1, I came to Khankendi for work. After a while, military operations began", he said.

I did not want to go to war because I knew that Karabakh was the land of Azerbaijan, but not Armenia. On September 27, I was called up to military service. When I refused to go, they came to the next day and threatened me with arrest.

I was taken to the front line - Hadrut. Then they said that it is necessary to withdraw. There were about 400 people there, and then we were sent in different directions. We went in the direction of Fuzuli. We came under fire there. I ran immediately. I realized that I did not come here to fight, I had to avoid bullets. 7 people joined me. We started to cross the mountains. We did not know where to go. The next morning I heard the voices of Azerbaijani servicemen. We told them that we did not want to fight and that this was not our territory. We just said we wanted to surrender and live. They took us and brought us. Now I think everything is going well.

I appeal to the Armenian people. Brothers and sisters, we do not have to fight for things that do not belong to us. Do not send your sons and your husbands to die in vain. "

In addition, the Armenian serviceman noted that those who want to live in Karabakh can live within Azerbaijan, as before, we lived as neighbors. I am treated very well here.
