Moscow says conflict has not moved to ‘Armenian territory’

The conflict is going on in Nagorno-Karabakh and has not moved to the territory of Armenia, AzVision.az cited Russian Deputy Foreign Minster Alexander Pankin as saying on Friday.

“As long as the clashes are going on in Nagorno-Karabakh, it would be improper to discuss involvement of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in the conflict,” Pankin noted.

"It [the conflict] has not moved to the [Armenian] territory, there was no request, no official request from Armenia. CSTO provides assistance to its member states in certain situations, when there is some clear aggression,” the diplomat added.
