As part of his working visit to Azerbaijan, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Quang Dung visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, founder and architect of the modern and independent Azerbaijani state, and laid a wreath at his tomb.
He also visited the Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and territorial integrity, and put flowers at their graves.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev met with the Vietnamese delegation.
During the meeting, Kamran Aliyev highlighted the strong political ties and ongoing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam. He emphasized the strategic importance of further deepening bilateral relations, particularly between the law enforcement agencies of both countries.
Deputy Prosecutor General Nguyen Quang Dung described the enhancement of legal cooperation with Azerbaijan as a natural progression in the development of relations between the two friendly and strategic partner nations.
The Vietnamese delegation then visited the History Museum of the Prosecutor General's Office, where they viewed a dedicated exhibit honoring the life and legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
