 Azerbaijani FM informs Nancy Pelosi about Armenian terrorist acts

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the latest situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the situation on the frontline, the violation of the humanitarian ceasefire by Armenia, the continuation of talks mediated by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stressed that the Armenian side is violating the humanitarian ceasefire and its obligations under international humanitarian law, destroys the talks, launch missile strikes on Azerbaijani cities located dar from the conflict zone not only from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, but also from the territory of Armenia, and tries to involve third parties in the conflict.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed hoped for an immediate end to the fights in the region and the restoration of a humanitarian ceasefire. Stressing the importance of non-interference of the other countries in the conflict and the de-escalation of the conflict, the Speaker expressed her confidence that the talks would be resumed soon and continue within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.

The sides also exchanged views on the dynamics of bilateral relations and other issues of concern.
