  Russian Foreign Ministry issues statement on death of Arthur

Mayakov Artur Vasilievich, a Russian citizen, born in 2007, died today in a hospital who was injured as a result of a rocket attack in Ganja on October 17. The Russian Foreign Ministry shared a post on its official Facebook page on this incident, AzVision.az reports.

The Russian embassy in Azerbaijan has been informed about the death of Russian citizen Artur Mayakov", the statement reads.

It was noted that the embassy is in close contact with the executive authorities of Ganja city and the relatives of the deceased and provides them with the necessary assistance.

AV Mayakov was buried on October 24 in Ganja, Azerbaijan. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Head of the Russian community of Ganja I.V. Kalashnikova and Father Bartholomew, pastor of the Alexander Nevsky Church in Ganja.
