In the past 24 hours, Azerbaijan has confirmed 1,022 new coronavirus cases, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az on Friday.
Some 480 virus infected people have recovered, and 10 others have died, the headquarters noted.
The overall confirmed virus cases have reached 54,174, with 42,996 recoveries and 718 deaths. The number of active cases stands at 10,460.
Over the past day, 10,179 coronavirus tests have been conducted in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 1,341,466.
